Alright! I made my first noodle trip in a while and picked up some new stuff I've never seen before. The one I was most intrigued by was this one, Shin Ramyun Black. I think it's just a fancier version of Shin Ramyun, but that could be very delicious. Cool packaging, too. Let's check it out!
We have the traditional Shin round noodle block and three big packs of stuff. The green one is a bigass veggie pack and there are two soup base packs. The red one contains red peppers, paprika and others, the gold one is more of a regular soup base. I'd like to mention that the veggie pack also contains fake meat thingies. Wait, what? Upon reading the ingredients I found that these are REAL meat thingies! And they actually look like meat, too. "Dried beef" is an ingredient here! Time to cook.
Everything all combined in the mystical ramen pot of mystery.... kinda looks like vegetable or tomato soup.
Here's the done deal. The soup has a kind of creamy look to it and it is a little thicker than a regular ramen soup. These are really, really good. It's got the spice of the regular Shin Ramyun with added chunks of real meat, mushrooms, carrots, and cabbage. If you like spicy ramen then don't pass these up. As popular as Shin Ramyun is I hope to see these sold at Walmart and similar places right next to the original. 10/10.
